David Vinter
ABOUT
I am a second-year Economics student at Tel-Aviv University looking for a position/internship in the field of finance, economics and consulting. My goal is to work in a dynamic, educational and challenging environment that requires broad thinking. I am a quick learner, analytical, problem solver, autodidact. Also, as a reserve infantry veteran, I bring a unique mix of discipline, dedication and hunger for learning.
PROJECTS
To improve my analytical skills, I decided to make a company valuation using DCF method on companies from the medical and pharmaceutical industry, specifically Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. My goals were to get insights of their work, understand their business operations, their product portfolio and eventually to determine the value of these companies.
When making these valuation I used variety of resources including textbooks, Aswath Damodaran's valuation course and other informational sources.
